My summer holidays have begun on 24.3.2010, Wednesday at 11 o’ clock. Mmmmmm.. yep there were 8 of us and the very second the van stopped, I unlocked the door, we jumped out of the van and rushed to the pool at 100kph and we decided it. I don’t need to tell you the meaning of ‘it’. I thought everyone would come but only 3 of us came and in the swimming pool our names are Shikhar the Deepswimmer, Pranav the Backswimmer and finally the last but not the least Aditya the Summersalter. Nice names huh?
I swam for 1 and half hours but my mother told me to swim for half an hour. Sheesh you should have seen the way she scolded me. The next day, I did the same, instead of swimming in the morning I did it in the evening at 6 o’ clock.
I have planned to swim everyday except April 1st and 2nd and some other days when I go to Chennai and Kerala but my mother says no.
I wish all who reads this post a very, very happy Holidays!

Chicken Manghanian Recipe
I like chicken a lot since my mother cooks it very, very commonly. I also eat it outside. The chicken dishes i eat are chicken curry, chicken 65 etc.

My mother likes experimenting chicken dishes and therefore i have created one myself. It is known as the Chicken Manghanian also known as the brother of Chicken Manchurian. The recipe goes like this -

Ingridients
5-6 chicken slices
Chilli powder
Tumeric powder
Salt
Pepper
1 onion (chopped)
Water
Curry leaves
Oil
Utensils
Frying pan
Spoon
Serving plate
Bowl
Method
1. To marinate, mix 1 tsp of tumeric powder 1/2 tbs of chilli powder, a pinch of salt and a little water. Mix well.
2. Add the chicken and mix well. Keep it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
3. Pour 2-3 tbs of oil in the frying pan. Keep the chicken in the pan.
Make sure that while the chicken is frying it doesn’t stick!
4. Garnish and serve!
Tip: Before frying you can role the chicken in both sides. It becomes smaller and easier to eat.
