Best Shoe Brands Ever!

Hey Guys! I'm pretty much not writing much so I decided to come up with a list. Of Shoe Brands! So I hopefully hope that this will help ya! So here we go -

7. Fila

Ok, guys, so Fila maybe Italian and all that but #7 is its place. It may not be as good a Puma and stuff but it is pretty awesome. They are epic for tennis, basketball, running and GOLF. Yeah, golf is for Fila. Fila is one of the leading brands in golf.

6. Converse

Yeah, so Converse being all American and all, why #6? They look real awesome, but they're not that sporty. Ok, you walk around with a Converse, everyone's all, "Ooh, look! Converse!". But you try out in a race and you move like an overgrown sloth. But still, being on my list is awesome, right?

5. Headley

Maybe you haven't heard of this brand, but they make wicked spikes. I had to go for a race, and my friend wearing these spikes accidentally stamped on another guy. And he goes down. Awesome for running. I would totally recommend buying these.

4. Puma

There it comes. Puma is totally awesome. Any sport, its Puma. It goes for racing as well. All around the world, Puma is one shoe that is always remembered. Not to brag, but I had totally amazing Puma shoes. They go with basketball, badminton and running really well.

3. Reebok

Reebok i for producing awesome athletic shoes, accessories and sportswear. Many famous celebs are attached with Reebok in ads. The company sells to professional athletics, runners and kids. The brand has different ranges of footwear to full fill the requirements of its customers. So that makes us pros, right?

2. Adidas

Adidas is a well-known sports shoe brand worldwide. The company mainly is for football kits. The mark of Adidas is called the "Three Lines of Triumph". They manufacture more than a few shoe varieties. Adidas also use kangaroo leather to make more comfy and exclusive shoes.

1. Nike

And we have our winner! Nike is totally awesome. That comes from me. My own Nikes are totally rad. The first product which Nike manufactured was track running shoes. Nike has a wide range of footwear and jerseys.

So that concludes my list. Hope it helps!

Independance Day : Poem ze Fourth

My 4th poem-

Quiet but bright,
A solemn plight,
Though we are strong,
With our many bonds.

Though deep inside,
We are free to decide,
All our will,
And a single till.

So on Independence Day,
We can dance and play,
To celebrate our life,
As free people.

Time

Ok, guys, I'm like a poet now so I'm not keeping track of the number. You'll know if its a poem, just read the label. Here it goes-

Flying, flying all the time,
Well that's just what it is,
It may not be just yours or mine,
But what a wonder time is!

I find that I use it for everything,
For every single thing,
From chores to food, writing and writing :P
What a wonder time is!

I try not to waste it,
You should try too,
You will never, ever regret-
Not wasting time to poo!

Time, man, what a wonder!
It isn't pink or blue,
I know I said this thrice before but,
Time is a wonder, it is.

My Second Poem : Stars

Stars, shining yellow and bright,
Two usual combinations.
Showing the way at the dark of night,
Lighting up little spaces.

What holds them up there?
Gravity? Oh, Bogus!
Making a path for people everywhere,
Stealing many-a-glance.

What are they made of?
Gases? Oh, Bogus!
An endless, burning matchstick in space?
Or a flying ball of fire?

Stars, shining yellow and bright,
Why are they up there?
To show the way at the dark of night,
Lighting up little spaces.

Boo-yah!

School started pretty recently. Not really enthusiastic about it. Lets just end it by saying JUST KIDDING! Ha! My class teacher's name is Ms Ekta. Lets say that she is the best and the worst teacher in the world. She is practically the worst because, well, uh.. I'm naughty. She calls my parents, and tells them to kill me. End of story. Blah,Blah,Blah! And she should be the best cause, dude, like 40 days of school and we've completed like, 6 chapters. Six is a lot, like, uh-duh. By the way, she's an English teacher. Lets not go into studies too much. Speaking of which, I have a test tomorrow. My parents have gone out, so I'm blogging away! Boo-ya! Its Computers, don't worry. I'm a walking encyclopedia. People think I'm a nerd. Do you think I'm a nerd? Ah, I thought so.
Did I tell you that our whole class is the same except one new admission? And Ma'am allowed us to sit wherever we want! So practically we are indivisible. Boo-yah!

Hey Dudes! uh... I mean readers!

It's been Diwali holidays and I have been spending too much time gaming :) However, we managed to have great Diwali party on Sunday and I had my role to play.

This year I choreographed a dance for Diwali. When I say choreographed myself, I meant almost all steps and sequences for the dance except for the signature steps. So here you go check out my GANGNAM STYLE dance with Shikhar.

My First Poem: The Rain

Sorry for not posting anything for so long. I couldn't find a good topic to write about.

Please no bad comments as it is the first time I am writing a real poem.

Here you go...

The Rain

One day, I woke up in the middle of the night,
With my lamp on my desk, shining bright,
I looked out of my window and saw the rain,
And it washed away all my sorrow and pain.

Even when the dawn came,
The rain was still the beautiful same,
It was so great that it put me in a trance,
Because it was such a beautiful glance.

In the afternoon the rain finally stopped,
I was broken-hearted when it ceased,
I knew, deep in my heart, that it would come again,
And I would wait for it, until it came.

Kitten Mania!

First of all I want to tell you that this is a real life story.

A few days ago, I had had some guests. They were my mom's college friend and her son. They had come because my mom and her friend had some baking lesson. Since everyone was busy me and my mom's college friend's son decided to have some fun. So we played video games, ate the tasty things that the baker dudes made and much more. And after that we even went to Mc'donalds! It had been a great day but now it was time for them to leave. Before they left, my mom's college friend told me that a kitten had been dashed on the road. And then they left.

The next day was Christmas Eve and we were having a party. We had great fun and even a minature Santa Claus came! After the party my friend, Pranav told me a secret. It was the kitten! It had survived but its leg was sprained. When everyone left, me, Pranav and another dude went to check it out the poor kitten. There it sat, lonely looking at me.

The next day we went to the kitten. It was still there, but hurt. I saw a bottle of milk and cup. I filled the cup with milk and held it near the kitten to my surprise it drank it!After it finished I made a bed of leaves for it and put it on it. And after a few minutes, it was sleeping peacefully.

From that day on it never left my eye. Everytime I went there it would look only at me.

About the kitten's name, we were fighting about it for quite some time. Pranav wanted it to be Mitoo but I said Ripper was a better name. But now we've confessed it. Its Kerf.

The next day I made a blanket for it out of my old school shirts. I painted it and it looked and felt wonderful. I showed it to Pranav and he was surprised at my love to Kerf. He asked me the reason for the same and I answered " After all, it is hurt ".

The next day I went to Kerf and I was amazed to see that it was climbing up the steps! I saw Pranav with him. Kerf was actually training! I put the blanket on Kerf and it fitted perfectly! Pranav had a ball and when we had put it near Kerf, it pushed it away onto the road! I found a stick and when I put it near it, it started biting and scratching it. And thats how we trained it.

On the next day Pranav got a huge card board box. I thought I'd use of it and I cut it into the shape of a house. We took it to Kerf and put it inside and it slept peacefully. Near the entrance I put a bowl of milk so that Kerf could drink it after its nap.

In the evening, when I went down, my friends told me that Pranav had already gone and fed Kerf with its daily supply of milk. Then even I went there and played a little with Kerf. I saw a small bowl near Kerf's house. It was much cleaner and it was easier for the kitten to drink milk in a flat bowl. I guessed that Pranav had fed the little guy milk with that bowl.

On the same evening, when I was playing with Kerf, I noticed the house's entrance. It was too high for Kerf to come out of it on its own. I wanted to cut it but no one had scissors. I tried to use a leaf, a stone, a blade of grass etc but nothing worked. The cardboard was just too hard. Then I got an idea. I tilted the cardboard box a little vertically so that Kerf could easily jump out. And thats how Kerf entered and exited its house. A few days later I went to my grandmom's house for a few days. When I came back, Pranav told me that the kitten had wandered of onto the street. I felt really bad about. Here are some pictures -
I really miss the kitten. It was really nice.

Diwali Celebrations @ CG

First of all, i want to apologize for not writing for a long time...................

Ok, Now back to the topic.

This year for Diwali we had a fun fair and a dinner.

The fun fair was on the 23rd of October, and like I said it was a F.U.N. F.A.I.R. So there were game stalls, food stalls, wearery stalls etc, etc. I owned a tattoo stall. The fair went on for like, 3 hours. But I left all the managing to my dad and I went off to take a look at the other stalls (I felt pity on him then). When other stall managers had clouds raining cash on top of them, our profit went unbelievably to.....to......to...............to ONLY 80 bucks:(.That was because we stopped the business half way. I wasted all my cash on the stalls but I only won one. But the prize was a whole biscuit packet. YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
At least some profit.

The dinner was on the 27th and I must say it was pretty AWESOME. It started of with a puppet show which I hardly watched (I was stealing atta from the cooks). After that were dances on Sheela Ki Jawani, Desi Girl etc

Then was a dance by one of my best friends, Ladies and Gentlemen: Ashwin Pillai on Hum Toh Hai Aandhi.............................................................Sorry but I did'nt get the video.

Then was a song by three of my best friends, Ladies and Gentlemen: Arjun S Nair, Madhav and Parvathi singing Country Roads......................................Sorry but I did'nt get the video.

Then was a dance by me and two of my best friends, Ladies and Gentlemen: Me, Shikhar Nashine and Pranav V.C.! And I got the video:

Ok now that was cool, was'nt it!

A new band called Moon Dust also sang a few songs like Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Summer of 69.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you about my mom's dance. It was pretty good:

Oh, I forgot to tell you about the dinner. It was awesomer than Kick Buttowski.

And the crackers? Four-day cracker exploding! The first day went on normally but only the kids blasted in the rest of the days. We always made a bonfire with the leftover packets every day after we had bursted them.

So that was how the epic Ramayana was created. I mean that was how our Diwali came and went. I really enjoyed this Diwali and hope that every year's one will be like this year's.

SAP bandhan

Yeah.....as in the heading we had gone to my father's, company's (SAP) `bandhan party' ... a ten year `bandhan', you know a ten year relationship (I am writing relationship instead of `bandhan').

At first it was boring (at first means that we were still not in the hall. We were still on the ground floor of the hotel )because everyone was .... like I cant tell you what it was like I can only tell you what they said. They said -
hello, what's up man, this is yours now, etc. We went to this whole party because my father completed ten years in SAP. When we entered the hall the party started as dances.

In the first dance those people who were dancing danced for........I forgot the dance. Sorry. Instead of dancing the most of it were gymnastics, the rest of it were the dance. The dancers and gymnasts were from a dance company called Nritarutya. Then when that was over the starters started com'in in. They were chicken 65, chicken kabab, some type of panneer......what i'm a non - vegetarian! I'm sorry to the person reading this post if he/she is a vegetarian. Really sorry. After that the person behind the company and some other people gifted the folk men and women of SAP a gold coin and a certificate. Then came along the rocking part. It was the wonderful, amazing, fantastic, magnificent, fabulous, astonishing, splendid, impressive Raghu Dixit. He along with his band sang

. Then we went to eat dinner which was biriyani, rice, fish curry, (I'm sorry if your a veg.) ice cream, etc. Just before dinner I got Raghu Dixit's autograph. And after eating I went into my dad's car and went home again which was another long journey you would have guessed that I slept by the time I reached my house but no, I didn't. And when I reached my house was when I slept happily ever after. And its not a fairy tale, its real.

My Trip to Chennai

On the day before yesterday, I went to Chennai at 11:30pm. We started from CG at 11:30pm and reached the Railway Station at 11:35pm. I was not alone you know, I was with my mother, Pranav (he is also mentioned in the last post) and Pranav' mother. We reached the station early all right, but the train took 15 minutes to arrive. That told us to wait at the station till 11:50pm.

After we got into the train, the big fuss started. I claimed that I could sleep in the Middle-Berth but my mom said no because I could fall down and break my head on that hard floor. So I slept on the Lower-Berth. But Pranav could sleep on the Middle-Berth because he was used to sleeping on it.

It took us 6 hours to reach Chennai. As a matter of fact me and my mother hardly even slept in the train. We were going to Chennai not only for an adventure like toor but also to meet one of our kind of old friends. Her name is Namrita and short form what we call her is Nammu. Actually we had another friend from C.G. who had come to Chennai before us and her name is Avantika. We went to Nammu's house by her dad's car. On the way to Nammu's house we saw many places such as Beaches, The White House, etc.

After we reached Nammu's house, me and Pranav had an argument about who will brush first since we did not know that there were 2 bathrooms. But when we knew that there were 2 bathrooms we both rushed to occupy them. After we finished brushing all 4 of us went to Nammu's room and played Word - Building. After we finished playing we went to the beach. Man that was cool. But in the water we never sat, slept or went deep. But I have to say it was awesome. When we were back to Nammu's house we took a nice, warm bath. But the bad part was......I HAD TO BATHE WITH PRANAV :-(. Sheesh, that was grose! Then we ate breakfast which was idli, vada, and sambar. Then we played school-school and OM NAMA SHIVAYA!

Then we went to a place called DakshinaChitra which was 10 times better than the beach. 99% of it was awesome but 1% idiotic. First we went to do some activities such as Peepal Leaf Painting, Shell Art and Paper Mache. Then we saw Kerala's houses, Tamil Nadu's houses, etc. Then we went to the potter's house and made some pots. The weavers house was only a meter away so we made baskets too. Then we had our lunch which was minimeals and then we saw Glass Blower and puppet show and then immediately we went out of DakshinaChitra and back to the beach. But this time we sat, slept, we did go deep and plus there were much more people than the morning. Just before leaving I collected some sea shells.

When we reached home and again I BATHED WITH PRANAV :-(. Just before eating we played a little dark room and ate dinner which was pacoda, chapati and potato curry. And then the sad part we had to go back to C.G. Ok now lets go a little fast. Then we went back to the railway station, on to the train and finally reached CG. I went back home and slept happily ever after. And its not a fairy tale, its real as mentioned in the above post.

Summer Holidays

My summer holidays have begun on 24.3.2010, Wednesday at 11 o’ clock. Mmmmmm.. yep there were 8 of us and the very second the van stopped, I unlocked the door, we jumped out of the van and rushed to the pool at 100kph and we decided it. I don’t need to tell you the meaning of ‘it’. I thought everyone would come but only 3 of us came and in the swimming pool our names are Shikhar the Deepswimmer, Pranav the Backswimmer and finally the last but not the least Aditya the Summersalter. Nice names huh?

I swam for 1 and half hours but my mother told me to swim for half an hour. Sheesh you should have seen the way she scolded me. The next day, I did the same, instead of swimming in the morning I did it in the evening at 6 o’ clock.

I have planned to swim everyday except April 1st and 2nd and some other days when I go to Chennai and Kerala but my mother says no.

I wish all who reads this post a very, very happy Holidays!

Chicken Manghanian Recipe

I like chicken a lot since my mother cooks it very, very commonly. I also eat it outside. The chicken dishes i eat are chicken curry, chicken 65 etc.

My mother likes experimenting chicken dishes and therefore i have created one myself. It is known as the Chicken Manghanian also known as the brother of Chicken Manchurian. The recipe goes like this -

Ingridients
5-6 chicken slices
Chilli powder
Tumeric powder
Salt
Pepper
1 onion (chopped)
Water
Curry leaves
Oil

Utensils
Frying pan
Spoon
Serving plate
Bowl

Method
1. To marinate, mix 1 tsp of tumeric powder 1/2 tbs of chilli powder, a pinch of salt and a little water. Mix well.

2. Add the chicken and mix well. Keep it in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

3. Pour 2-3 tbs of oil in the frying pan. Keep the chicken in the pan.
Make sure that while the chicken is frying it doesn’t stick!

4. Garnish and serve!

Tip: Before frying you can role the chicken in both sides. It becomes smaller and easier to eat.
